Pleated Skirt & Batwing Top Pattern

Pleated Skirt & Batwing Top Pattern

Sew Dolly her very own kilt inspired pleated skirt and comfy bat wing top!

This fun traditional outfit features a drop waisted knife pleated skirt pattern and an accompanying bat wing jumper. Beautiful in a tartan or plaid, the skirt also looks stunning in a plain cotton as well as real wool.  I've used a tartan weave for my sample (pictured).

Finish the smart/casual look with a pair of Dolly's own leather shoes with  even new shoe making kit.

The relaxed fit bat wing top is an ultra easy and modern design with boat neck.

The waterfall front cardigan in ponte roma pattern makes the perfect partner to this twinset.

This pattern is rated 'easy' and includes making a pleat, making an elasticated waistband and working with knit fabric.  The pattern gives useful tips on using your sewing machine to start out with stretch fabrics using a zig-zag or stretch stitch if you do not own an overlocker.

PDF download includes full step-by-step instructions and all pattern pieces for the pleated skirt and bat wing top.  This is delivered at checkout, immediately after payment.
